Green Arrow Says: Do Your Civic Duty

Well, cats and kittens, your humble correspondent took advantage of Georgia's early voting option today. It took 4 hours in line to get it done, but I've done my civic duty!

Green Arrow and I say you should make sure to vote too!

And hey, just think, after Tuesday you won't see anymore annoying campaign posters like these:

On second thought...those are pretty cool.

I'm going to try to catch early voting here in Texas tomorrow. We thankfully don't tend to have such lines in my mid-sized town....

Have my absentee all filled out. As the wife has to go to the polls I'll drop it off Tuesday.

I love that image (It's my wallpaper on my iPhone) liked the storyline to...the Winnick haters complained but this was a continuation of two Bronze Age stories.

My wife's Aunt and Uncle did early voting in their state and it didn't work out. They called up to make sure they got it and told they couldn't find it. They told them not to vote on Tuesday because if the vote was found then the second vote would mean they committed fraud.
After hearing that, even if my state was doing early voting, I wouldn't do it. I'll be voting on Tuesday.

Rick: We did ours electronically, so they probably won't get lost. If it does, well, I tried, and its not like Georgia's electoral votes are really in play anyhow.

Yep, I voted early, too -- north side of Indianapolis, Indiana, at my old high school. The line was the longest I've ever seen for an election, but it moved VERY quickly. I voted and was out of there in only 45 minutes!

Very tough choice this year, very tough choice. It is especially important to vote in this election, though, because it seems entirely possible that we'll see another split between the popular vote and the Electoral College. Maybe after another debacle of that sort, we'll finally do away with the College. I imagine Green Arrow would be excited about something like that...and somehow I still think it's a good idea. ;)

Lines around the block last week, but I breezed through my vote on Tuesday. Happy days are here again, not that my vote in Texas counted for squat!
