Ollie Watch: Aquaman Shrine

Hey guys! Rob has put up an awesome post over at the Aquaman Shrine. He's done a series of mash-up images for covers of a proposed team-up book called "Surf and Turf." The featured image on the post is a team-up between Aquaman and everyone's favorite (on this site anyway ) comic book archer! Check it out!

Ollie Watch: Batman Brave and the Bold

I know this one is a little late guys, but GA had an AWESOME appearance on the new Batman: Brave and the Bold episode that aired last Friday. GA and Batman defeated an awesome looking Clock King. best of all, Batman's internal monologue revealed how much he respected our favorite fictional archer.

So, if you can catch a rerun or have it on DVR make sure ot check it out. Ollie will apparently be a najor recurring character on the show, so keep your eye out for future episodes as well!

Articulation Arrow: JLU Arrowcycle

Man, this thing was really hard to find! After learning of its existance through a post on the JLU Club, I looked at every store I could think of, plus ebay and some other online retailers...nothing.

Then, someone (they were posting anonymously) pointed out that one was up for auction on Ebay. Well, I bid, and won!

Check it out:
The toy features a bent-knee version of the JLU Green Arrow figure, pus his cycle, which has a neat pull strip that makes the cycle zoom across the room! I thought the Aquasub was cool, but this thing seriously takes the cake. Now, if I could just get a bigger version of the Arrowplane and Arrowcar...

So, about those posts I owe you...

Turns out Fallout 3 is a really, really awesome game...and not at all conducive to getting blog posts done. I'm going to try to resist the urge to turn on my desktop tonight (my laptop isn't powerful enough to run F3) and make a blog post instead. I've got a mega cool piece of GA swag to share, so that will hopefully make it easier :)

And so it begins...

Well, the election is over. Congrats to President-elect Obama. Senator McCain, I think you would have had a better shot if you'd remained your old maverick self, but hey, you gave it a shot. That was a very classy concession speech and I applaud you for it.

Now, everyone get back to work!
